Sad Goodbye

Well coming here to write this is harder than I thought. Yesterday was easily the WORST day of my life. After class I went to the store to buy some comfy maternity jeans and yoga pants because my jeans were just too tight because of all my bloat. After trying on the pants I went to the restroom where i noticed a color I didn't want to see. Rushed home to find blood. Started crying hysterically called the ER and rushed in. After 2 hours there and heavier bleeding, vaginal ultrasound that showed nothing, urine test that was very faint, and blood work that showed a beta level at 17 it was over. We lost our sweet baby :(

I'm not sure what we will decide to do, but we were so excited to be parents and start our family even though we weren't really expecting it. Something like that makes you think about what your priorities are. I think we are starting to realize what ours are and what we really want.

Hopefully soon I will be back here to give great news of another baby, but until then I'll leave you with some bible verses that have helped me get through this hard time.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Helloooo cold weather!

So I absolutely LOVE the fall! I love the cold weather, football, cuddling up with hoodies and blankets, fires, holidays, just EVERYTHING!
&&&&&.....
Now that we are going to have a little baby I'm so excited to be getting things ready! Yes, its early, but who cares! We're excited! Now i'm not going to be painting the room just yet or anything, but I do have a crib that I got for someone that didn't need it so I will be painting that to match a lovely dresser I got a while back and repainted!

Daddy's Reaction!

so this is what happened...

 

I got tired of waiting up after the Carolina game ended. He was still watching another football game so I said "I'm going to bed."
Later on he walked in the hall (I'm laying in bed and can see the board from my bed) he turned on the hall light stopped for a min looked at it and walked in the room and said "what does that mean?" I said "what does it say?" so he walked back looked at it again looked at the test went to the bathroom to pee came back out looked at it again said " when will u do another one?" I said "whenever I buy one, why?" He said "will the line get darker i said yeah I'm just early." He starts smiling and looks at our dogs and said "y'all are in trouble now!" Lol hes crazy! He asked me after he layed down "will it take a few weeks for the line to get dark?" I said "it'll take a few days" He sat for a few and then said "when do you think we should tell people?" I was like "DO NOT SAY ANYTHING YET! I'm def. waiting until after I go to the doctor!" He just smiled and watched the football game and then i passed out! I was extremely tired!

 

 

Surprise!

Well, after being half way through a stressful semester of school I guess its time for something more! Yep, I'm PREGNANT! After having a little too much fun after a Carolina Gamecock college football game my period didn't show up today so I took a test! It's positive! I'm telling Tyler tonight! I can't wait to update with his reaction. I know he will be excited, but this is how I plan to tell him...

 

The little outfit says "tough like daddy" I got it because we really want a little boy first, but we will be thrilled with healthy!
